The night skies are exceptional, as the reserve borders the International Dark Sky Reserve of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, inviting guests to reconnect with nature and themselves.
Sustainability and luxury seamlessly intertwine at Sossusvlei, featuring ten elegantly appointed stone and glass suites along the escarpment. Each spacious, air-conditioned suite includes a secluded veranda with a private plunge pool, a living room with a fireplace, a retractable skylight above the bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a glass-encased rain shower offering 180-degree desert views. The two-bedroom Star Dune Suite is perfect for families or friends.
The lodge's split-level guest area is a stunning blend of glass, rock, and steel, with large panels that open to reveal unobstructed desert vistas. Guests can enjoy a central bar, a comfortable sitting room, a walk-in cellar, an interactive kitchen, and a rim-flow pool.

Energy Efficiency: Solar power provides 65% of the lodge’s energy, cutting CO₂ emissions by over 205,000 kg annually.
Water Conservation: Recycling 100,000 liters of grey water each month, eliminating over 45,000 plastic water bottles annually through on-site bottling.
Plastic Reduction: Over 2,500 kg of plastic eliminated yearly through waste management and recycling programs.
Land Protection: Protecting 12,715 hectares of wilderness in the &Beyond Sossusvlei Private Desert Reserve.
Environmental Education: Educating over 200 students through hands-on environmental programs.
Local Employment: 96% of our staff are Namibian, with over 19 million NAD spent on local procurement.

The heart of the lodge features a trendy central-island bar crafted from giant slabs of locally sourced granite, providing the perfect hub to unwind with a classic cocktail or a Namibian craft beer while engaging in convivial conversations with fellow guests, all while overlooking the captivating desertscape beyond.
